For the student who is new to the method of Traditional Thai Yoga Massage.
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to perform a combination of 65 full body 'Nuad Bo Rarn' Traditional Thai Massage and Thai Yoga stretch techniques (including acupressure points on the feet, hands and face). Many concepts may be applied to the Massage Table.
Students will be introduced to the history of Traditional Thai Yoga Massage, as well as the theory and techniques using thumbs, palm, elbows, knees and feet to create a dynamic repertoire for application by the student.
This course includes massage techniques with the client in the Supine and Sitting positions and includes Reflexology for feet, hands and face, Abdominal Massage, Passive Thai Yoga Stretches and 'Sen' Energy Line work. (Level 2 covers the Side-Lying, Prone and in-depth Sitting positions).
Students are taught in a hands-on step-by-step method, following a picture workbook, to enhance learning of the techniques. Instructor demonstration will be followed by practice time. Students will have ample opportunity to also receive massage by practicing fellow students.

For the student who is interested in a more in-depth application of energetic systems, Level 2 Traditional Thai Massage is the next step.
Deeper sensitivity and awareness combined with new theory and techniques using thumbs, palm, elbows, knees and feet create a dynamic repertoire for application by the student. This internship will continue the massage to the positions of Traditional Thai Massage to the Side-Lying, Back and Sitting positions, review and more detail of introductory class work, followed by work on the whole body, including the techniques required to perform a 1 hour or 2 hour massage. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to perform a combination of 73 new full body 'Nuad Bo Rarn' Traditional Thai Massage and Thai Yoga stretche techniques (including acupressure points on the feet, hands and face) that may be added on to previously learned techniques as learned in the Traditional Thai Massage - Level 1 course.

Foot Reflexology is an ancient form of Massage that has been used for more than 3,000 years to stimulate the body's internal organs as well as blood and lymph circulation.
In this course, students will learn how to perform a 60-min. Traditional Thai Foot Reflexology & Massage sequence that incorporates the use of a re-usable wooden massage tool. This type of massage may be performed on a massage table, in chairs, or on the floor on a mat.
Using a step-by-step course booklet, pictures demonstrate how to stimulate 58-Reflex Zones a combination of thumb slides, flat knuckle slides and acupressure using a wooden massage stick. This method will be combined with 31-cream based massage techniques usings hands, palms and fingers to relax lower leg muscles.
Each Reflex Zone will be discussed as to location and how it pertains to the general health of each organ and joint of the body.
Pre-requisites: None. No previous massage experience is necessary.
